School Events
As academic events、we have an Academic Achievement Exhibit, and a Speech Contest at all 5 schools. Those events give students important opportunities for the actual use of what they have learned.

Throughout the year we have Japanese events such as New Year’s Day, setsubun (change of the season), girls’ day, children’s day, etc., for all students to experience what those events are like in Japan.

Each school has its own special events as well. For example, School Festival, Bazaar, Pancake Breakfast, New Students Welcoming Party, Teacher-Parents Conference and so on are held in each school for the purpose of fundraising and of enhancing communication among the students, teachers and parents/guardians.

Rengo (combined) Speech Contest
At this speech contest, the winners of the speech contest in each grade/class of every school will get together to compete against each other. The best speaker of the upper division will win a round trip to Japan.

Speech Exchange Tour to Japan
Once in three years, we visit various parts of Japan and exchange speeches with Japanese students in colleges and high schools. Experiencing life in Japan can motivate the students to study more and helps deepen their skills and knowledge. (Student has to be 12 years or older to participate.)
